Cask at Half Moon, Darlington. Gluten Free. Black brown colour, biege foam headand aroma of roast malt, coffee, brown sugar. Taste is sweet, roasty, malty, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, coffee, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet roasted bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Gravity cask at the 30th Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms, 06/09/24.
Light black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is chocolate shavings, dark malts, candyfloss.
Taste comprises cocoa powder, mellow roast, dried red berries, sugars.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Tidy enough stout.

Can from the greengrocer on Amble high street. Pours darkest brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, roasted hazelnuts. Taste is sweet, but strangely thin. Ok.
