Can thanks to the brewery. Appearance - golden with a very slight haze. Small but attractive lacing. Nose - sweetcorn and green bean. Taste - green beans and a little touch of herbs. Palate - light bodied, cleansing bitterness. Overall - good example of the style.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours Lightly hazy golden with a medium, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweetish, doughy white bread, cereal, stale pub vibes, stinky guff, grass and some mint. The taste is crisp, dry, some bitterness, butter - sweet, cereal, grassy, herbal accents, menthol, has that farty, almost farmyard character in the taste also.... sweet manure, doughy white bread and rich tea biscuit with a drying, bitter finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Quite stinky lager. Sweet manure is not what I want. A shame as I like the rest of it.
