A beer we designed originally to be our "winter saison", which, had it's own ideas of when it would be ready. Organic Dark & Wheat malt formed the base, with a light addition of our own hops in the boil. To finish, a spice mix including cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg & cardamon was added shortly before kegging to give it a warming feel, not unlike a fresh apple pie.

On tap at BrewDog Bristol clear orange light brown colour no head. this is either going to be good or horrific. I can sense it. cinnamon saison aroma. ok. it's like a cinnamon Danish pastry flavour. but then sour too rather than sweet. ridiculous. but it works. love the cinnamon. some bitterness on the finish. sourness is fine. it worked

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - amber with thin but attractive white lacing. Nose - big Christmas spice thing with cinnamon and nutmeg. Also dried fruit. Taste - mince pies in a glass. More sweet spice and candied orange. Palate - creamy and tangy at the same time. Dry, long ta guy finish despite the sweet spice Overall - bit of a contradiction with sweet Christmas flavours against the dry saison yeast.

keg at brewdog Lothian road... copper... thin white lacing... Oct 2020... spiced woody funky toffee fruit nose. woody spiced fruits. Light toffe makts.. soft sharp tart fruits.. long Tonka finish

Keg at brewdog Lothian road. Pours hazy orange, nose is apple pie spices, caramel, toffee, taste is juicy apple, sweet, spiced, toffee, some banana

Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours just-clear amber with no real head. Aromas of cinnamon, funky sour. Taste is quite sharp up front, then Christmas spices. Some mixed peel. Unusual.
