The Boss is one of our core range beers here at Brus. We do subtle tweaks to the recipe every so often, but the hops and malt bill always stay the same. The Boss is DDH IPA with Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe, and it’s packed to the brim with flavor.

This is a perfect example of the New England style IPA.

(Draught at Omnipollos Hatt, Stockholm, 22 May 2022) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grapefruit, mango and pineapple. Fruity, hoppy taste with pineapple, mango, grapefruit, lemon, grass and a balanced citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Very nice.

Can from the Advent calendar, drunk watching The Grand Tour investigate French auto culture. Light yellow-orange hazy, good head, very big nose with dank pineapple, lupulin, apricot, mandarine, mango. Flavor is a great smooth bomb of piney fruits and pleasant light-grapefruit bitterness. Nice mouthfeel as well. Excellent one!

Can from Loz's To Øl Advent Calendar, had this today Thursday 9th December 2021 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music we have Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas for tea tonight. Pours murky yellowy gold with a white head. Juicy but grapefruit forward NEIPA, a little pithy, dryness, fruity and for a NEIPA it displays an unusual amount of bitterness, this is great.

50cl can from to øl julekalender #7 hazy yellow, smooth offwhite head. milky bitter hoppy aroma, more bitter than flowery, but some frutiness below the bitterness. flavor is soft, wheaty, tons of hops, hops are a little bit more bitter than aromatic which is a pity, but the base beer is totally smooth and quaffable. easy drinking chugging beer with a dangerously high 6.7% abv, given you drink this like chocolate milk out of a cocio bottle.

Can. Pours hazy yellow, very little head. Aroma is fruity and juicy, soft orange and tropical, passion fruit, guava, pineapple. Medium body. Flavour is malty, clean malt profile with a spicy touch. Some grapefruit as well, pine and earthy hop notes. Finishes slightly bitter and sweet, quite dry. Very nice NEIPA.
