The Boss is one of our core range beers here at Brus. We do subtle tweaks to the recipe every so often, but the hops and malt bill always stay the same. The Boss is DDH IPA with Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe, and it’s packed to the brim with flavor.

On tap at BRUS, Copenhagen. Hazy straw coloured with a white head. Fresh, fruity aroma with plenty of tropical fruits, mild citrus and hints of herbs. Moderate sweet with tropical fruits and grapefruit, finishes dryish and lightly bitter. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Can from Alko. As To �l - the boss. Poured hazy orange color with a thick white head. Juicy, hoppy aroma, citrusy, zesty. Quite dry. Bit chalky later on. Nice juiciness, some pine and bitterness. Good drinkability.

Can as The Boss. A murky and orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma is fresh and fruitness, grapefruit, mango. Taste has grapefruit, mango, medium bitterness that's nicely drying the end. Medium bodied. Pretty simple, but tasteful. It's not always need to be too complex.

Tap @ BRUS. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aromas of mango, light malt, citrus, light tropical notes. Taste is sweet, light malty, mango, citrus, peach, light bitter grassy finish.

Can from Glasbanken. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, pineapple, some soap, hops and light malt. The finish was slightly tart. A decent one.

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 17/03/2019 at Barcelona Beer Festival 2019, (L´Hospitalet, Spain). Cloudy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is pineapple, ripe tropical fruits and yeast. Taste is smooth tropical leading to a light juicy finish. Next one please!

200ml draught at BRUS. Unclear yellow-gold body. Lacing rings down the glass from a covering white head. Ripe fruity nose, some herbal hops. Rather rich hop fruity taste profile of pine, mango and citrus peels followed by a mid-dry bitter ending. Fine depth. Decent stuff. (Copenhagen 23.11.2018).
