The Boss is one of our core range beers here at Brus. We do subtle tweaks to the recipe every so often, but the hops and malt bill always stay the same. The Boss is DDH IPA with Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe, and it’s packed to the brim with flavor.

Keg at Brus, CPH, 10/11/17. Clear golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is mango pulp, pine needle, orange pith, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises pine neelde, grapefruit, ornange pith, soft breads, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with juicy hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

Draught @ BRUS, Guldbergsgade 29F, DK-2200 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As BRUS The Boss ].Hazy medium orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange, sweet hops, sweet fruit, peach, light licorice hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, grapes, orange, dried fruit, fruity hops, caramel, licorice hops. Fra fat på BRUS, sammen med Kitty: både denne og Springsteam var superfriske både i smak og aroma, nok et eksempel på at øl er ferskvare, og at velkomponert og velbrygget øl rett fra tanken er en delikatesse. Fruktig, friskt, passe syrlig og med flott maltkropp. Glasset ble tomt på et øyeblikk.
