Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin white head. Strong hop aromas, candied orange, spice, wood, bit boozy. Taste is rich, sticky, fruitcake, citrus peel. Boozy finish.

Murky golden beer, thick white head. Strong hit of hop in the smell, with sweet zesty citrus and grassy grapefruit in the aroma. Flavour has all the same qualities, with lots of strong, bitter hop, a little sweetness coming through from the fruit and it tastes its strength so it demands a bit of respect. Even very cold it's quite powerful so very much a sipper but it's really tasty and very much my sort of thing.
