Not sure why there is 5000 different iterations of this beer on here.... Anyway I am drinking this is May 2026 and it is 5.3%. it pours clear oily golden - yellow with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is musty, zingy, tangy, gooseberry, orange peel, tangerine, funky dirt, light manure, damp hay, barnyard, spent grain, oat cakes, fermented peach and sherbet. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, snappy, some minerality, grape must, funk, gooseberry, barnyard, sherbet, orange, lemon - lime, sour candy, dry oak, white wine, sour melon and a hint of kiwi with a bone dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation..What's not to like? Bright, funky and quaffable.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow with a light haze. Snow white head. Nose - woody, sherbet from Brett side and green herb from Pils side. Taste - alka seltzer, paracetamol, and green herb underlay. Woody going forward towards the finish. Palate - light bodied, long lean, lightly sour, through middle and finish. Overall - good. Very interesting.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a light haze and a thin white head. Aromas of pale malt, wood and sherbet. Taste is dry, powdered lemon, more sherbet, paracetamol chalkiness. Wood at the back. Interesting.
