A rich, dark Oloroso flavour in the mouth. The superb pairing of the best Maris Otter malt and fresh First Gold hops combine to produce a distinctly mañana-ish pleasure.

Bottle from Beautiful Beers. Appearance - dark with an olive sheen. Big crema head. Nose - molasses and a hint of liquorice or fennel. Blackjack sweets. Taste - more toffee-ish with hazelnuts following it in. Palate - medium to full bodied. Rich and complex. Dry-ish finish. Overall - good. Preferred the nose over the taste.

Tight tan head left a spotty cover on a black still body. Liquorice & spicy aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the tongue with a light tickle on the back. Malt, liquorice, dark berries & malt with sweeter fruit on the back followed by a long tangy finish. So tasty!

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Sweet malts, trace of dry cream. Smooth ripe fruits. Whisper of esters. Smooth semi dry finish brings a little spice. Quite pleasant.
