Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden with a thin head that quickly disappears. Nose - corn and pale malt. Taste - lightly sweet malt. Brown bread at the back. Missing a lager hop spice. Palate - light bodied, could be fresher on the finish. Overall - a little sweeter for a Pilsner.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of light corn and malt. Taste is light sweet, slightly grassy. More of a golden ale to my taste.

Bottle from Hawkshead Post Office, Hawkshead. Clear golden with a head and a carbonation. Clean tasting and more hoppy in character, than having a lager character. It is a lager in style though but with some earthy notes it.
