Keg at St Andrews Card Hall. It pours clear mahogany brown with a small fluffy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toasty grains, toffee, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, fruit cake, toasty brown sugars and wood. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet, lightly toasted brown sugars, woody, sappy, resinous, raisin, sultana, fruit cake, toffee, caramel and light leather with a drying finish. Light to medium and fine, massaging carbonation. Rounded and easy going. Works for me. Nice take on Export.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep amber to a brown red. Decent head. Nose - toffee and honey. A hint of hazelnut. Taste - more honey with caramel. No hazelnut this time. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Dey finish. Overall - not bad, considering low ABV for the style.
