Can from the brewery online shop. By the description on the label, I'm assuming some barrel aged brose was back-blended with a fresh brew for this release. That would account for the subtle barrel character, when I was expecting a bit of smack in the face of smoke or TCP! The base beer is a good porter, so I'm glad the barrel doesn't dominate. Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Chocolate and smoke aromas. Clean finish.
