Bottle from Bowland Brewery shop. Appearance - golden amber with a nicely proportioned off white head. Nose - toffee, orange and biscuit. Taste - bready and cakey. Yippee mainly apart from that. Palate - light to medium bodied. Fairly dry finish. Overall - decent, more a bitter than a golden ale.

Cask at The Medicine Tap, Rochdale. Golden-amber with a creamy head. Has a higher bitterness taste with a hint of caramel, but more malts though.

Cask at the Tap and Vine, Penwortham. Pours clear golden amber with a thick white head. Aromas of red fruit and biscuit. Taste is more of the same. A little watery at the end.
