Nice mild spicy sour ale. Names are confusing, abv = 6%, nothing says #2 or blonde. I guess batch #1 had different abv.

Keg at Six Degrees North. It pours clear amber with quickly dissipating head. The nose is earthy, funky, sweet-sour, wood, light vanilla, candied lemon and some sweet apple pie. The taste is smooth, tart, red apple skin, cider vinegar, lemony sherbet, sour orange, sherbet, wet leaves, tart apple, hay, light alcohol and a touch of vinegar with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty authentic stuff. I did prefer the other version more though.

On tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a hazy rusty orange with a thin white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has notes of leaves, oak and yogurt with light acidic and sour fruit underlying. Flavor hs more sour fruit notes with growing acid and backing oak and leaves.

Tap at proletariat. Orange pour thin white head. Nose is funky citrus and sour apple. Tastes of lots of green apple, lemons, slight sugary, maybe dried cherry, and vinegar. Tart finish refreshingly sour. Decent enough don’t remember how this compares to first one.
