Keg at Ølsnedkeren, 12/08/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is grassy, bitter citric rinds, bread dough, light spice. Taste comprises orange pith, toasted grains, bread dough, melon, lemon tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi dyring close with a peppering of hop bitterness. Average IPA.

[ As Ølsnedkeren Hil Cascade ].Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, dusty malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, earthy hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, citrus, fruity hops, earthy hops, dusty, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. On tap at Basement Beer Bar. It’s almost clear in the glass, with a small, dense, white head. It’s quite piney on the nose, with grapefruit and melon, not much malts, but some faint vegetal hints. It’s rather effervescent for the style, close to warming on the palate, full bodied and quite dry, with lots of bitterness. Pine cones, resins and a generic fruityness leading to a lasting piney and fruity finish with some resin and grapefruit. Easy drinkable and quite quenching this one. 160621

Draught at Ølsnedkeren Århus. Fruity and slightly soapy aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is teaish, perhaps caramelly, with a flowery, almost perfumy, touch. Clean bitterness, but perhaps a little astringent.
