Our Humulus Lapu-Lapulus IPA series of hoppy beers is designed to highlight the biodiversity of the Central Visayas and raise awareness of and support those who are working tirelessly to protect and preserve the same. It also showcases the magnificent diversity of IPAs, a style that helped define the craft beer movement in its infancy and which allows for the showcasing of an amazing variety of hop varieties and brewing techniques. This beer is a light in color and body, a bitter and fruity IPA brewed using four continental European malts and three different hops from two continents, and is replete with mango, lychee, pomelo, and a rounded bitterness over a dry, multy backbone.

7/4/2018. Bottle from BEEReaucracy Bar, Davao City, Philippines. Pours murky amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of herbs, citrus, lychee, caramel and wood. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, above average carbonation. Not your standard IPA, but not bad.
