Lakota is a deep straw, dry hopped American pale ale. Amarillo and Citra unleash a feisty, citrusy punch while their good friend, Chinook, throws in a bit of spice for good measure. Mosaic and Ekuanot generate the brilliant blueberry, tangerine, papaya and floral aroma. Cara Gold adds to the magical melting pot with a wonderful toffee flavour and sweet caramel scent. Spiritual.

Can from Cambridge Wine Merchants, Kings Parade, Cambridge. Pours dark amber with a large short lasting off-white to beige head. Aroma of hop, tropical and citrus fruit, caramel, touch of butterscotch, pine and bread. Quite light sweetness with towards heavy bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Bitter finish. Pretty decent.
