Santa's Beer-d is a wonderful deep red in colour and with the spices used it offers that festive taste of Christmas! With no fewer than five different malts, including rye and amber malts with a single hop infusion of First Gold to offer a balancing bitterness. Steve uses only quality malted barley, whole hop flowers and yeast.

Bottle from the St. Andrew's Brewhouse, Norwich. Pours clear dark amber red with a small off-white head. Aroma of Christmas spices, cinnamon, chocolate, malt and toffee apple. Moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light to medium body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. A decent spiced Christmas ale.
