Each year, Gigantic brews their huge, beefy, MASSIVE! Barleywines using just one malt. This year they chose Skagit Pilot Pale, which they boiled for over eight hours to create a rich, chewy brew. Then they aged this 2024 variant in Westward Whiskey barrels for luxurious accents of crème brûlée and a touch of maple.

Capped 500 from Tavour. Pours very dark, but clear against strong light, brown. Aroma of whiskey and toasty malt. Near full bodied. Flavor is toasty malt, whiskey and some wood notes. Rather exquisite.
