Bottle, 0.75l. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit with earthy and vanilla note. Pours clear dark ruby brown color with tan-like immediately disappearing head without mentionable visible carbonation. Taste starts with sweet caramel, toasted malt, vanilla and wood, follows by lots of dried fruity acidity and hint of an ash, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic and spicy, while finish is mild bitter. ABV: 14.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, bread, toasted - roasted, sweet malt, wood, barrel, barrel - vanilla, sweet yeast - candy - vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, barrel, dark malt, bread, sweet malt, berries - dried fruit, barrel - vanilla - sweet yeast, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20201003]

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, bread, malt, bourbon, vanilla, hops and has sweet bready finish.

Bottle. Dark, dirty brown, thin beige head, nonlasting. Complex nose - gentle vanilla and wood, mild chocolate, quiet some alcohol notes (whisky), gentle roastiness, lots of dry fruits, especially dry figs. Sweet, pretty strong with lots of dry fruits and berries. Mild bitterness in the finish, some chocolate and vanilla in the end. Quite warming, though not too burning. Nicely drinkable despite the alcohol level.
