We’ve meticulously selected the pale and lightly-roasted malts to form a classic aromatic, golden ale with notes of passionfruit and orange. Sailing to the far reaches, we’ve found hops from America and Slovenia, combined with the best of British.

On cask @ the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a slight haze and a decent head. Nose - citrus and light grassiness. Taste - tangy lemon and lime. Grassy again. Lemon tart finish with the malt coming in. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - nice cask ale.

Bottle from somewhere in Norfolk. Hazy, no head, flat. Crap condition, actually. Smells good, all juicy hops and fruit, but after that it’s all a bit drumming of fingers, and wondering what to have next.

Cask at The Ale House, Colchester. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak malt and hops. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt, hop bitter slightly watery palate. Light bodied with flat carbonation. Fine for a session.

Cask at the Greyhound (JDW), Maidenhead. Cloudy amber with a loose cream head; some orangey fruit aromas; sweet and floral taste with a grainy body; and a dry biscuity finish with some yeast. Not in great condition.
