We’ve meticulously selected the pale and lightly-roasted malts to form a classic aromatic, golden ale with notes of passionfruit and orange. Sailing to the far reaches, we’ve found hops from America and Slovenia, combined with the best of British.

Cask at the Greyhound (JDW), Maidenhead. Cloudy amber with a loose cream head; some orangey fruit aromas; sweet and floral taste with a grainy body; and a dry biscuity finish with some yeast. Not in great condition.

Hand-pulled pint in the Rib of Beef, Norwich on 20 Apr 2013. Golden, deep gold in fact, with a white head that produced some impressive lacing. Pleasant blend of flavours and aromas, no citrus notes (a big plus for me). Fairly sweet biscuit maltiness with some hop dryness to balance it out nicely. No big flavours but a good tasting beer non-the -less. Mid-bodied and well made, a good session ale rather than an interestingly ’must have’ beer.
