8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is hoppy, lemon, pithy orange, straw, light tropical notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Very unlike the previous ratings and for me a Session IPA as described. Pretty decent one too.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - deep amber to brown with hints of red Cream head. Nose - dried orange and cakey. Sweet spices at the back. Taste - caramel, cake and candied citrus and tropical fruit. Sweet spices again close it out. Palate - medium bodied with gentle bitterness. Overall - good, but not a session IPA. That's why it's loaded as a Bitter.
