500mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma has rich brown sugar, caramel malt, and bourbon barrels. Flavour is dominated by the bourbon barrels, brown sugar, toffee, and caramel malts. Complex, wonderfully barrel-aged, and balanced. Beauty.

Capped 500 from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a large creamy tan head that didn't persist. Aroma is whiskey / toffee / date. Full bodied. Flavor is the aroma plus a nice level of heat. Not dry, but not sticky. Some oak astringency. Heavy duty and tasty ale.
