Gravity dispense at London Drinker BF ’15, day 2, 12/03/15. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is bready malts, spice, malt, earthy, light citric. Taste comprises bread dough, light citric, floral notes, not a lot going on! Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. So so, all about the bread notes, looks and feels good but doesn’t deliver at the business end ... unless you’re a fan of Hovis!

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally floral, hoppy aroma, a gooseberry touch, biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is floral, strawy hoppy, a mineral touch, hints of gooseberry, biscuity pale malty basis. Quite English for an APA - wherewith I don’t want to identify the reason for its mediocrity.

cask@The lord Northbrook, Lee - amber pour, thin white head. Aroma and taste is sweet fruity and malty, faint citrus tropical hops, hop bite on the palate, watery body, dry bitter finish. Decent. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the Lord Northbrook, Lee. Gold/amber pour with a white head. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon and spice. Lots of spice in the flavour, splash of citrus too. Bitter finish. Not too bad.
