Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Hackney Amber Ale ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit - orange peel, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt - caramel, orange, hoppy, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161130] 7-3-7-3-14

Cask gravity at Croydon Craft beer fest. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, sweet, rich maltage, fruit cake, light spice and a touch of toffee. The taste is bitter-sweet, chewy, fruit cake, orange peel, wood, resin, spice with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A touch chewy, but pretty enjoyable anyways.
