Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 28th December 2024. Almost impenetrably black with almost no foam or lace. Liquorice aroma. Vanilla, aniseed and cherry fruits in-mouth. Roasty malts, coffee and bitter chocolate dominate the finish. Lighter body than expected, but a smooth mouthfeel.

Jet black with a short tan head. Aroma of licorice and vanilla. Flavour is warm fruit, cherry and plum on a firm base. Oily texture on a sweet roast finish.
