Bottle thanks to Max. Pours orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, oak, rubber. Slick body, apple, funk, wood, light tartness, enjoyed this.

Big thanks to Raf for sharing at Billie’s ‘19. Hazy golden with no head. Aroma is massive moldy funk, cobwebs, dry cellar, mineral, citrus and light oak notes. Flavour is moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Beautiful!

One of my biggest wants and I was so glad I got to share it with good friends. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of mineral funk, lemon, oak geuze goodness. Beautiful.

(750ml bottle @ Koelschip tasting, May 11/17) Pours clear dark gold with no head. Really musty wet concrete, light wood and deep old hoppy notes, light oxidation, peppery citrus. Subdued and lightly sweet malt, low acidity, fairly dry into the back end, more complex than my notes likely convey. Nice influence of the old mystery lambic component. Smooth as anything. Medium-full for style with quite soft carbonation. I probably wouldn’t drink it every day but it was a really fun gueuze blend to try.
