(Sample from 750ml bottle @ Koelschip tasting, May 11/17) Nose has lots of berry flesh, salty, herbal, minty, lovely. Flavours of bright citrus, bright herbal minty character too, built around a really smooth and kind of rich pale malt core. Some earthy character, light wood, not terribly funky. Relatively dry in the finish, some lingering fruity notes, hints of that herbal sea buckthorn linger. Nearly flat in the mouth, a bit oily. So nice, sea buckthorn is a great match for sours when used well. Quite enjoyable.
