Too mild for an IPA, more of a hopped-up wheat beer, but even the "hopped-up" part feels generous. Orange and citrus are backed up by biscuity malt and slight notes of clove and grass, leading to a bland, buttery finish in dire need of some hop vitriol. Slight herbaceousness and pine on the fade. Again, an IPA in name only. Creamy texture, pretty pour, but not a great beer.

Sample at Bob’s Bar during the "Crooked Stave Hits Ohio!!!" event on 02/13/2017. This beer is a cloudy orange color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Tropical fruit, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of juicy fruits, malt and subtle piney hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a creamy wheat and tropical fruit aftertaste. More like a hoppy wheat than an IPA, but decent overall.
