Draught, 3.5% at KØ07. Good ginger aroma. Very dark brown colour. Small light brown head. Very roasted flavour, hiding the ginger. Roast coffee aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel.

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours muddy brown. Aroma of coffee and liqourice/annis. Flavour is very floral and herbal. Has some malt notes but it is overrules by the annis spice leading to a strange flavour. Finish is dry and spicy.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of ginger and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of ginger and roasted malt, and lesser notes of citrus, leading to a very bitter and roasted end.

Draught @ Københavnske Øldage 2007. Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. Sweet malty and slightly spicy aroma. Sweet malty slightly spicy flavor with some caramel hints. Sweet malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draught at copenhagen beerfestival. Creamy lightbrown fair mostly deminishng head. Brown colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor with nice chocolate/caramel notes. Nice oily palate. this is a good beer.

(On tap) Very hazy, dark brown with a creamy, off-white head. Very spicy aroma - anise - and some burned, ashy edges. Rather light in body - a bit watery actually. Very unclean notes of burned malt - as if an ashtray had been emptied into it. Dry finish with some spices. 120507
