Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear red-brown with a thin ring of beige head. Aromas of toffee and raisins, light spice, light wood, light salt. Taste is more of the speyside influence, still some salted caramel and spicy esters. Quite dry on the finish.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep brown to black with a proportionate, tan head. Nose - toffee, raisins, wood, light barrel note. Definitely salty. Taste - wood, booze, toffee, fudge, brandy balls and salt. Palate - creamy texture, full bodied, boozy, but the wood gives it a little dryness and balance. Overall - yeah, enjoyed this.
