Bottle from Buckingham Garden Centre. Pours almost clear dark gold with an off-white foam. Aroma: cake, fruity, orange, caramel. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, really quite dry, light sharp citrus, more orange, grassy finish. Medium body with fine carbonation. It grew on me, slightly.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel, brown bread, light fruit. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - deep amber with copper chunks. Cream head. Nose - dried orange, sweet spice and general cakiness. Taste - malt loaf, dried orange and raisin. Palate - creamy texture and medium bodied. Tangy malty, dry finish. Overall - not what I expected from this style. Expected more hops and less malt influence. But enjoyable. Like an English Strong Ale at session strength.
