Select Pils is a single hopped pilsner, clean, delicious and bitter, showcasing a single hop variety. In this case, Petit Blanc. The first time this hop has been used in the UK, it is packed with noble aromas, floral blossom and fruit, with a delicious crisp bitter finish.

Can. Almost clear gold beer with a good white head. Smooth palate for a lager, decent fine carbonation just not as crisp as you might expect. Fluffy malts, fairly sweet. A mild lager tang in the mid. Petit Blanc hops are new to me and they do seem a bit less edgy than most noble hops that are used in lagers. More floral but a soft and sweeter floral. Someone said Elderflower, that's a bit of a stretch for me but I do like the floralness. Light finish. Easy drinking and clean lager, just a bit crisper would have been good.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 13/05/21. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a good sized white cap that thins in time. Nose is pale malts, grass, melon, lemon zest, toasted grains, light bread dough. Taste comprises bready malts, lime zest, grass, cereals, lemon rind, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with modest noble hop bitterness. Solid clean drinking pils.

Flavour is composed of crisp , authentic ceral pils grains, floral hop flowers, light Belgian, straw, grainy finish. Palate is crisp, light tang, highish carbonation. good stuff.
