Can from Appellation Wines. Pours murky yellows gold as usual with a thick white head. Aromas are more muted than expected. Sherbet and pineapple at a push. Taste is dry, powdery almost, grapefruit though, pithy bitter. Challenging. Not the pillowy juice I'd imagined.

Can from Cork & Cask. Murky golden body with a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pithy orange, raw potato, peanut shell and waxy lemon. Flavour of papery malt and pithy citrus. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Really disappointing. It’s dry and pithy - nothing like the sweet, juicy, fruity Vic Secret hops I was hoping would be front and centre in this beer. Is it the Overtone yeast? I want to love this brewery, and they’re capable of sublime beers (see Sabromance), but it’s not the first time I’ve felt their beers are dry/pithy/papery.
