Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - jet black with a thin tan to fawn head. Nose - burnt wood and booze. Dark chocolate. Taste - dark chocolate but again dominated by burnt wood and booze. Palate - medium to full bodied with a dry finish. Overall - ok but I prefer the base beer.

Bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of black coffee and bourbon, light vanilla, wood smoke, dark chocolate. Taste has some leathery notes, more boozy bourbon heat, coffee, caramel. Quite thin at the end. Otherwise great.
