Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy orange. Snow white thin head. Nose - definitely funky, beyond the tang of a saison, even into sour style. Also, a little bit of citrus and dank wood. Taste - still some funk, but definitely more fruity. Orange and and edge of peach. There are elements of Orval going on here. Palate - light bodied, very persistent and lightly tart finish. Overall - very nice. Is this what was intended? Was it a Champagne yeast, or something a touch wilder. It's a completely different beer to the version 10.0.
