Originally a collaboration beer brewed with Keenan from Sprawl kitchen, based on his delicious parkin recipe. We rested part of the batch in freshly emptied Jamaican rum barrels.

Can from Hoptimism. Appearance - black and a decent tan head. Nose - raisins, dates, molasses and wood spice. Boozy edge but not too much. Taste - ginger, raisins, brown sugar, cake and boozy rum around it. Palate - medium to full bodied. Rich sweet middle. Decent linger. Overall - good.

Can. As Carnival / Sprawl Rhum Parkin. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aromas of Jamaican ginger cake. Parkin. Taste is similar, cakey, rum notes, dark sugar. Sweet finish.
