Rocky beige head left a spotty cover on an unclear golden coloured body. Big fruity aroma with peach & confectionery. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a lively back. Apricot, yeast, white wine & herbal tastes with a sweet finish. A bit harsh for the style.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting rocky off white head. Aroma is semi alcohol, woody notes, pepper, jammy orange, pencil wood. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, boosty alcohol, lght wheat, sticky orange, peppery yeast, Belgian yeast, light apple, hint of banana. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, rounded. Super boosty, very fun, lingering green liquorice.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden orange and close to opaque. Creamy, white head. Nose - loads of esters going on. Banana, candied lemon and a hint of pineapple. Taste - orange, banana, candied lemon and white pepper. Palate - medium bodied, tangy and sweet middle. Tangy, though rich and dry finish. Overall - this is well into Abbey Tripel territory. Very nice indeed.

12th December 2020 Can. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Mouthfeel is defo more substantial than yer average saison! Smooth and sweet malts, a mild creamy sweetness that has a vague tang, probably from the yeast. Smooth and slightly minty pine and floral fruits. The hop combo of Celia and Monroe is a good one. First time I have had Monroe hops and the soft floral berry fruits they impart are a delight. Light lemon and lime from the Celia. These very nice flavours are embraced by the slightly winey yeast. Touch of bubblegum esters on the smooth semi dry and slightly spicy finish. Such a very very clever beer, obscure choices of hops, yeast and style choice - Imperial Saison. And yet all these choices come together in a hugely drinkable yet different beer. Colour me impressed.
