Sahweet, I just found the notes on this. Haha, here goes.
I had three of these beers acquired from my brother in law who lives in IL.
All three were poured into pint glasses.
The appearance was a nice looking red/copper color with a fairly decent half fingered white foamy head that ends up dieing within less than a minute. The lacing actually left a little bit to be desired.
The smell made up for the lack of lacing as there was a super nice involvement of pine to citrus to earthy bittered hops. Whoah, damn, boy did this smell nice, holy moley. The sweet malts do end up coming in just a tad as it warms.
The taste was fairly sweet through a combination of the malts and hops.
On the palate, this one sat at/about a light to medium with a fairly decent sessionable aspect to it. The carbonation tried to portray a certain harshness, but seemed actually sitting right on queue.
Overall, worthy AIPA of having again with its respected food. Though, it almost seems the palate aspect of it probably could’ve showed a tad more harshness to me.

Pour is a copper with a small white head. Aroma is a citrus hop. Flavor is more of that citrus hop with a minor caramel malt backbone. Not a world beater IPA but it has plenty of hop flavor with some chewy malts in the backround. Better than the rating on here.

12oz bottle. Amber-brown. Big, intense beige head. Fruity, piny aroma, some faint cinnamon coughy syrup which gets worse and worse the more it warms.. Maybe this is infected, but tastes like a hoppy amber to me. Bitter, slightly soured, overcarbonated. Not bad per se, but hardly good. I take it back...bad. Infected for sure. Sorry guys.

12oz bottle @PreJam Gathering-pours a tan ring for a head and copper color. Aroma is pine/earthy hops, secondary light/medium malt-caramel. Taste is pine/herbal hops, some medium malt.

Draft at Ballydoyle, Downers Grove. Another exclusive to the Ballydoyle pubs by this South Side brewer. Really fills an imperial pint glass; dark brown, but still clear enough to let some light through. Fresh malty nose with some mild hop bitterness combine for a nice "beer" smell. Taste brings in big, toffee flavored malts, some American hops that show their dry-hopping, and some citrus and grass. All combining to keep up a good bitter focus. Frankly, the total package comes just shy of a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale; a solid offering for a new brewery.
