From tap at Churchkey. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted caramelish malty. Toasted dark malty, caramelish, sweet and light toasted. Mild bitter and light hops fruity. Medium sweet and bitter into the finish.

Draft at Sugar Maple. Thick, opaque black with a massive, steady beige head. Sweet chocolate aroma. An interesting Porter, not so far removed from a Belgian Dubbel. Fruity tones, maybe some amber malt. Somewhat bland and watery despite some rich chocolate and alcohol notes. Doughy, almost oatmeal tastes. A little bland, forgettable.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a slight dark brown that was clear. Head was small and tan. Aroma had dark dried fruits and dark malts that gave a dark bread aroma. Flavor was subdued at the beginning, but dark grains grew throughout with a nice dark dried fruit undertone.
