Draft at FFF. Served in a short Stein Glass. Roasty chocolate-coffee aroma. Black-brown with a steady beige head. Rich, medium bodied. An excellent Schwarzbier, perfectly balance between the rich malty chocolate tones and the faint peppery hop bitterness. Perfectly sessionable, a touch hoppier than a typical European example. Awesome.

On tap at Map Room. Pours a clear near black with a thin gray brown head that dissipated completely. Aroma is full of malts with dark grains, roasted grains and a bit of caramel and toffee sticking out. Flavor is full of roasted grains with a bit of a smokey note and underlying sweet grains.
