Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Landlocked One Beautiful Day ].Clear medium orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus - orange, pale malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Thanks to Fin for this presented to me during the London Bimble which was a fitting tribute to Simon. Hazy amber lasting white head. Citrusy aroma. Some sherbert in the flavour some gooseberry too. Good sharp clean hoppy flavour. Decent.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy light amber pour with bubbly white head, big fresh hop aroma, taste has light tropical fruit hop action consisting of grapefruit, pine and citrus, very clean and crisp tasting, with some moderate bitterness, easy drinking sessionable golden, brewer to watch in 2014.
