Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours an opaque dark brown color, almost black. Beige head. Aroma of citrus, pine, dark malts. Taste citrus, grapefruit, and a substantial piney bitterness, with some chocolate and roast notes. Decent, but would have preferred more emphasis on the dark malt component.

Pours virtually black with a frothy tan head. Tangerine, rubber, earthy smells. Taste is citrus, lots of citrus, bitter, quite tart, pineapple going into the finish. Overall more hops than chocolate in the foundation, but still good.
