The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass is okay. Starts mild, modest roasty-malty, finish with notes of bitter chocolate, goes down very soft. Aftertaste is a bit dry. An average schwarzbier!

(bottle, with thanks to pivnizub) Clear, dark amber colour with a short beige foam. Slightly dusty, sweet toast-malty nose with caramel and liquorice. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark-malty, slightly roasted taste with chocolate; medium-dry finish with a balanced roasted and hoppy bitterness.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, quickly vanishing fluffy head; sweet dark-malty nose, faint aroma of liquorice and toasted malt, some fruitiness detectable; moderate sweet (malty) flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; sweet-malty and fruity (ripe berries) finish with a well hidden chocolatey bitterness. All in all a pleasant brew, even though it is a bit on the sweet side........
