Cask (gravity) @ 32th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2015, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Bluestone Ginger Porter ].ABV: 4.6%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, soapy, ginger, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, roasted, spicy, peppery, light ginger. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Bottle @ Lukassens Christmas Gathering, Herning 2016. Pours Dark Brown with a creamy head. Roast, Dark fruit, gløgg, æbleskiver, Amager hylden, ginger. Sourish touch. A bit thin.

Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and bread. The flavor is acidic with notes of roasted malt and ginger, leading to a dry finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is mild fruity, dark malty. Toasted malty. Ginger citrusy, fruity. Dry and citrusy finish.
