Medium dark brown color. Massive pumpkin spice with maple syrup and chocolate. Smooth as hell Abv well hidden. Excellent.

Can Ghost 1119 - Coffee + Cacao + Pumpkin Spices + Maple, 13.5%. Black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, spices, coffee and maple. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, spices, maple, sweet, sticky, warming, coffee and a little bitter.

My first Adroit Theory beer, these guys aren’t cheap and they caused controversy by releasing a set of beers glorifying serial killers. Adroit Theory What Evil Lurks Russian Imperial Stout 13.5% This RIS stout is made with coffee, cacao nibs, pumpkin spices and maple syrup! First off it smells great, like a chocolate pumpkin latte. Full bodied and rich, sweet pumpkin spices, cacao then maple sweetness before getting sweet pumpkin spice. Pretty good but it starts to get a bit too sweet as you keep drinking it… I’m glad I was able to source at least one imported pumpkin beer in Japan this year though.

12 ounce can from Wine Warehouse, 6/15/22. Ghost 1119, 2376/4200. Black, thin dark brown head, good retention. Aroma of roast, nuts, pumpkin spice, cherry, vanilla, cola. Taste is cinnamon, vanilla, roast, cherry, maple, vanilla, coconut. Full bodied, pretty boozy but not too bad. Nice.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy, pumpkin spices, cocoa, coffee, chocolate, wood, maple, maple - molasses. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20220403]
