500ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally starchy, mellow malty aroma with minimally strawy overtones, hints of honey. Taste is sweet-ish malty with minimally strawy overtones, diluted hints of honey, mildly bitter, hoppy overtones with a minimally soapy touch.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Nice mouthfeel, simple and monotonous - acceptable.

Fläschla: Deep golden, a bit unclear, creamy and stable off-white head, mild to moderate bitter-sweet aroma of grainy malt, honey drops underneath, and herbal hops; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, but at least soft; shorter grainy and bitter finish. A clean brew, all in all quite weak by Franconian standards...

(15.11.2022.)
