Oriel Tripel is a reinterpretation of a classic Belgian Tripel. Made of the finest ingredients, barley malts, hops, candi sugar, fresh liquid yeast, orange peel and Ceylon Silver Tips tea, Oriel Tripel has an alluring deep gold color and a creamy dense head.
A composite of aromas with mirabelle plums, cereals and spicy phenols gather alongside a complex taste of fruity esters, soft malting and a touch of “greenish” tea notes. Velvety textures are surrounded by floral and earthy, hoppy notes, all ending in a bitter aftertaste with alcohol warmth.
Oriel Tripel is a balanced beer, tender, yet strong with the intensity of flavours and exquisite finesse.
Bottle conditioned for many months, we strongly recommend to get one extra to age it in your cellar.

Beste tripel die ik in tijden heb gehad. Opvallend dat deze al wat ouder is, met een bottle date uit 2023

12/12/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of saxo/fonefan. Pours hazy copper amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, yeast, sweet malt, fruit, biscuit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily/sticky texture, bit above average carbonation. A little harsh alcohol burn to finish. I do like this breweries beers, but less so this one.

Hazy amber, sparkling off-white head. Strong fruity aroma - dried apricots, raisins - some dark honey, followed by a good prick of spicy (and quite hot) alcohol. The flavour follows the aroma, albeit at half the intensity. The spicy alcohol and robust herbal hop bitterness finish the beer nicely. Obviously, not as luscious as the BA version, but a solid authentic Tripel it is.
