Slight haze, with a bit of red, lots of vinous accents on the nose. Deep grape character, lots of wood, tannins, and then there's also a fairly substantial acidity. Good balance, even it it is quite tart.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of complex grape skins, some oak, light wild yeast, and a touch of acetonic character. Flavour has a nice buggy character, lots of musty grape skins, and big oaky tannins. Oaky, tannic, and vinous. Well-blended, cohesive, and relatively complex. Very good.

Aroma: funky like a lambic, nice. Grapes, some oak.
Taste: along the same lines pretty much. Minerally, moderately acidic. Fruity.

Poured from 750mL bottle (bottled 03/2019). Lightly hazed copper orange with small off-white head. Nice funky vinous nose. Taste adds some dry-ish oak. Pretty nice.

ABV: 8.5%. Clear medium to dark red colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, barnyard, leather - funk, grapes redcurrant, oak, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, funky, farmyard, berries, redcurrant, grapes - red grapes, oak, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201024]
